My name is Nicky Hook the proprietor of Doggy Day Care. Established in 2008 in Slough, Berkshire.  Relocated to Poole, Dorset in December 2017.

After being made redundant in 2008, I decided the time was perfect to undertake a complete life change and live out a dream that I have wanted to pursue for as long as I can remember- to set up a business that cares for pets when their owners are unable to be there. I know that sometimes this can be a challenge in today’s hectic world and I want to be able to help people who face this challenge. I have many years experience with animals from family pets such as cats, dogs and rabbits and had my beautiful Neapolitan Mastiff called Tia featured on the website for 12 years before she sadly passed away, they are not just our pets they are part of our family and I still miss her every day.

My service is personalised and I have thought long and hard about what I would want from a pet care company, such as 1:1 care for my pet in the comfort of my own home when I am not there, following the same daily routine that I would perform and additional services that would allow pet owners to feel secure in the knowledge that their pet is receiving the high quality service.
