TERMS & CONDITIONS

The client must inform me of any pet behavioural issues/traits at consultation stage. Failure to inform may result in cancellation of bookings.
Doggy Day Care does not accept aggressive animals.
Emergency contact details for both the client and the vet must be provided. In the event of an emergency, appropriate action will be taken to contact the client, in the event of client unavailability; appropriate action will be taken by Doggy Day Care with the assistance of a veterinarian.
All pets must be vaccinated, and recommends pets are wormed, have regular flea treatment and are in general good health.
Doggy Day Care recommends that all dogs have collars & Identification tags to include both owners contact and your vets details. It is also advisable to micro-chip your dog for identity purposes.
Doggy Day Care strongly recommends that owners insure their pets.
All pet food, bedding, cat litter/litters trays, collars/leads and pet transportation boxes etc must be supplied by the owners. If this is not supplied, they will be purchased at normal shop prices and charged to the owners on their return.
The client is responsible for all veterinary, grooming, boarding fees and any other additional costs whilst in the care of Doggy Day Care.
Doggy Day Care will not sit for acutely ill animals or those with uncontrolled medical conditions. We suggest the pet be boarded with a vet.
Full payment for Doggy Day Care services is required within 5 days upon receipt of invoice via cash or cheque. In the event of additional unforseen visits or other costs (such as food, supplies or vet fees), payment is also expected within 5 days of the completion of services or a late charge of £10 will be applied.
Cancellations – in the event of a cancellations:-
Home Visits - notify Doggy Day Care 48 hours before commencement of service otherwise —50% payable
Dog Walking, Pet Taxi and Puppy/Kitten Care- notify Doggy Day Care 24 hours before commencement of service otherwise —50% payable
Doggy Day Care will never walk dogs for more than one client at a time.
All dogs will be exercised on a lead unless agreement has been made with both Doggy Day Care and the client.
Doggy Day Care will not walk unruly or untrained dogs or dogs that choke themselves on their leash.
On the odd occasion, walks may be cut short due to concerns for the safety of either your pet or my personal safety or severe weather conditions.
If your dog/cat is not spayed/neutered, Doggy Day Care cannot be held responsible if your dog/cat is impregnated by other dogs/cats whilst in my care.
Any owners wishing to accompany Doggy Day Care whilst an animal is being transported accepts that they do so at their own risk. Doggy Day Care does not accept any liability for any accidents, injury or delays incurred during transportation.
My Puppy/Kitten service is especially designed for clients who work/are out all day, this service cannot be booked for clients who are taking short breaks/holidays.
Doggy Day Care will endeavor to ensure your pet is well cared for in your absence, however Doggy Day Care cannot be held liable for any loss, injury or death to a pet inside or outside the home whilst in my care.
Insurance
Doggy Day Care has full Public Liability Insurance with Pet Business Insurance, Ref PBB1008040 and is fully insured to cover any loss or damage whilst I am in your property.
Security/Keys
All keys retained by Doggy Day Care are colour coded and contained securely in a safe, no addresses or phone numbers are ever attached to the keys and client’s details are stored in a separate secure location.
